Professor Camilla Hrdy travelled to Champaign, Illinois to present her work on trade secrets and generative AI at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The talk, held on Tuesday, April 29, was sponsored by the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Program at the University of Illinois. Professor Hrdy spoke to students and faculty about generative AI companies’ attempts to protect their models using a combination of trade secrecy laws and contracts. Professor Hrdy also enjoyed a driving tour of the beautiful campus and the famous “Research Park.”
