Professor Hrdy presented on a panel on contracts and trade secrets at the Sedona Conference Working Group on Trade Secrets Annual Meeting in Atlanta. Prof. Hrdy is a member of the Sedona Conference and a senior editor on the forthcoming Commentary, “Protecting Trade Secrets and Confidential Information Through Contract.” The meeting began Sunday, Oct. 5 and goes through Tuesday, Oct. 7. Practitioners, judges, and academics from across the country discuss various topics on trade secrecy, including

  1. Trade Secret Guidance for Employees Who Change Jobs;
  2. When Continued Possession of Trade Secrets Post-Separation Does or Does Not Constitute Misappropriation of Trade Secrets;
  3. DTSA Model Jury Instructions; and
  4. Protecting Trade Secrets and Confidential Information Through Contract.
