Rutgers Law will co-host a conference on trade secret law this spring. This spring marks the tenth anniversary of the federal trade secrets statute, the Defend Trade Secrets Act. The conference, titled “The Defend Trade Secrets Act at 10,” will take place in Columbia, Missouri on Friday, March 13, 2026. The conference is co-hosted by University of Missouri Law School and Rutgers Law School, and is co-organized by Professor Ryan Vacca (Missouri) and Professor Camilla Hrdy (Rutgers).
Several esteemed scholars, practitioners, and government officials have been invited to speak or write law review articles for the conference. The articles will be published in the Missouri Law Review in a special symposium issue.
