Professor Michael Carrier published PBMs and Product Hopping (with Victoria Field) in CPI Antitrust Chronicle. The article explores two reasons for higher drug prices that have previously been examined separately–pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and “product hopping” from one drug to another–but have not yet been considered in combination.

Prof. Carrier Submits Comment to International Trade Commission

Professor Carrier submitted a comment to the International Trade Commission in “In the Matter of Certain Video Capable Electronic Devices…” supporting the position of Amazon in a case brought by Nokia. Professor Carrier highlighted the importance of promises that patentholders make to reasonably license patents and how they should affect exclusion orders.
